Bigambul Ranger Program
The Bigambul Ranger Program blends cultural knowledge with practical land-care to protect places, support biodiversity and create meaningful jobs for Bigambul people. Our Rangers work with Elders’ guidance and in partnership with councils, landholders and project proponents to deliver safe, well-planned outcomes on Country.
Firefighters
Our First Nations Firefighters bring cultural fire knowledge together with agency-aligned practice to support safer Country and communities. We assist with planned hazard-reduction, preparedness and event response in partnership with landholders, councils and emergency services.
Land Management
Our Land Management team delivers practical, culturally informed works that restore and care for Country. We partner with councils, proponents and landholders to plan and deliver safe, well-scoped projects—always with respect for Bigambul cultural values and local conditions.
Empowerment Team Services
Our Empowerment Team helps organisations, schools and project partners work respectfully with Bigambul people. We design and deliver community engagement, cultural awareness and training that centre Bigambul voices, support informed decisions and build long-term relationships on Country.
BNTAC respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, work and meet and their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures, to the Elders past and present, and emerging leaders.
